An energy from the grocery store has a lot of artificial ingredients that can be detrimental to your health. Most energy drinks in the United States are unregulated by the FDA, so it's often that the amounts listed in the covers are inaccurate. Here are the common content of you typcal energy drink;

Sugar - Users who consume two or three energy drinks could be taking in 120mg to 180 mg of sugar, which is 4 to 6 times the maximum recommended daily intake,
Taurine-tough it can support brain development and regulate the body’s mineral and water levels, and could even improve athletic performance, however most of these drinks embrace the mantra "more is better" so you might thinks twice.
Vitamin B and additives- Addtives like carnitine, Yohimbe, and bitter orange. These ingredients  have very little scientific backing,  


 You can probably get away with drinking energy drinks every once in a while but you drink it everyday, it can lead to  insomnia, type 2 diabetes and cardiac arrest.



The good news is there are healthier and safer alternatives;


1. Matcha Magic- Because it's made from whole green tea leaves, matcha has amazing health benefits and energy boosting effect that surpasses those energy drink. Plus it's super healthy.

  • 1 water
  • 1 tsp organic raw honey
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 lime juice

  • 1 cup milk skimmed milk
  • 1 whole banana (Optional)


  • 3. Strength of Berries-  Berries contain natural sugars which don’t burden your system and slowly release the energy throughout the whole day. Combine them with lime juice and mint for a fresh twist.

    • 1 cup pure/tap water
    • 1 cup mixed berries
    • 1 lime, juice only
    • 4-5 mint leaves
